Christian Noyer, the ECG governing council member said specifically that he did not believe that there was room for overly optimistic sentiment at this stage. He said that there have been signs, good signs that the economy is rebounding and doing so at a faster rate than anticipated, although these facts are puzzling to the board right now.Â
