If you would like to be financially free and have more time to do things in life you want to do, you can start a home business online. Home businesses do not need to be large empires with hundreds or thousands of people involved. They can be, but they don’t have to be!


People have all sorts of home businesses that they do online. From MLM and network marketing to selling their own services and products online. Of course when we start getting into providing services we are talking about more of a freelance type of business, but nonetheless this is still categorized as a business you can do at home, on your own time, and earn profits from the sales you receive.


Some other things you can do as a home business worker as said above is sell your own products online. This is a good idea if you already sell your products offline and want to reach a wider audience but for the most part a lot of people that sell their products online don’t sell them offline. Or they do sell them offline but they receive most of their business from people online.


There are several sites you can check out if you would like to know more about having a home business. The first thing you should do is figure out what type of business you would like to do. And since there are thousands of not millions of different jobs you can do at home, there are also thousands if not millions of sites you can take a look at for different “opportunities” so to speak.


I started working from home a few years back after I heard all the hype about how I could work at home, earn lots of good money and not have someone constantly telling me what to do all the time like I did when i had a boss. Plus the amount of time my offline job took disallowed me to do anything in my life I wanted to do. I thought this was pretty nice as well considering I was working as a Chef in a hot kitchen for 16 hour days, 7 days a week, 365 days a year on crappy pay. Most of the time when you read e-books on home businesses the author was in the same situation I was in. Unhappy, underpaid and over worked. There’s an abundance of home business opportunities on the internet for you to choose from. The problem is knowing which internet home business opportunities are legitimate, which ones are borderline, and which ones are outright scams. So, how do you know? That is what I am going to answer in this article.

One thing you can do is go to some of the top home business websites on the internet and see what opportunities they are recommending. Be careful when doing this though because most of them are promoting these internet home businesses as affiliates, so their opinions can be very biased. However, if there’s an opportunity that most of these websites are commonly promoting there’s a strong chance it’s a good one. Or if the owner is promoting many home business opportunities you can email them and ask which one they recommend the most.

You can also go to home business forums and ask the members what they think about an opportunity you want to get some feedback on. It’s best to ask in a few different forums and see what the overall consensus is among the members. If most of them have positive things to say about it then it’s probably a legitimate internet home business opportunity. If you are getting mostly negative reviews or if it’s pretty much neutral then move on to another opportunity.

Another way to see what other people think about a home business opportunity is to go to Google and do a search for the name of the opportunity plus review. Let’s say the program you are looking into is named “Successful Home Business Future Team” as an example. So you would go to Google and search for “Successful Home Business Future Team Review” or “Successful Home Business Future Team” +Review. This will give you many reviews of what other people have said about the opportunity. Again be careful here because many of these reviews will be biased opinions of people who are affiliates of the program. Find some that seem to be unbiased and see what they say.

One more great way to find legitimate internet home business opportunities is to seek out a few very knowledgeable people who have been in the industry for a long time and get to know them. After a while you will know if they are helpful and honest. If they are you can always ask their opinions on any home business opportunity you find.

These Internet Gurus have one sole purpose in mind and that is to make money.  Not because they want you to succeed as they have, not because they have a fool-proof system, and not because they find enjoyment in helping other!  All they care about is selling you their e-book for some astronomical amount of money!  Once they do that, their job is done.  They could care less whether or not you know how to market their opportunity.  They could care less whether or not you take the time to read their “million page” e-book.  The only thing they care about is taking your money!  Congratulations…you have just successfully been scammed.  That is the TRUE meaning behind the phrase “get rich quick.”  You don’t get rich quick, THEY DO!

Sounds familiar doesn’t it?  Of course it does.  This sort of thing happens every day to millions of unsuspecting people trying to make a living for themselves.  To be honest, it’s quite the lucrative business practice.  If I knew how to be a cold hearted, money hungry, ignorant scam artist the I’D dream up some masterful plan to scam innocent people.  But frankly, that’s just now me.  I’d rather work hard, smart, and honest.

So please, don’t get sucked in by another scam artist.  Stop wasting your time and money on e-books that are so lengthy and confusing that you have to keep reading them over and over again just to get the picture.  Stop getting left out in the cold and start a REAL Home Business!

A real Home Business requires several things:

An Internet Marketing strategy that allows even the most inexperienced person to start marketing over the Internet in a simple, easy to follow manner.

An investment of time and money to get your marketing campaign up and running.
